The Sports Industry Credit Association (SICA) offers a wide range of credit services to our members. We monitor over 15,000 sports & footwear related retailers in Canada & our membership primarily includes Manufacturers & Distributors of Sporting Goods. The Footwear Credit Group (FCG), a division of SICA, caters to companies manufacturing or distributing Fashion Footwear & related leather goods products.

SICA offers several credit meetings per year in various Industry sectors. These sectors include :

At each meeting, credit managers from the Industry meet to discuss accounts in detail. These credit meetings :

Help credit managers take quick measures to prevent potential bad debts.
Increase a credit manager's awareness of high risk accounts.

Additional Services

SICA also plays an important role in bankruptcy; other legal matters. Our influence, in many cases, has favourable results for unsecured creditors. This, and many other services, are available with a membership to our organization.

Confidentiality

All Members of SICA must sign confidentiality agreements before accessing any information contained on SICA's web site, or from SICA in general. These legal documents must be signed by the appropriate authority and returned to SICA.

The documents to sign are the :

SICALINK Internet Access (S.I.A.) Agreement- Must be signed before a member can access SICA's web site
Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement - General agreement for confidentiality of information exchanged.
